Pitron 2.0- Cadastral software

About the
software:
Pitron 2.0 an
auxiliary software for surveyors, focusing on the execution of
parcellation plans, while working under the combined AutoCAD and MapPit environment.
The core of the program is the ability
to identify the topology of an existing drawing and to perform
automatic identification of all closed parcels. At the same time,
the program performs control and marking of all drawing errors and
creates all products required of an analytical parcellation plan,
including a description of the drawing in various
formats. |
| Another unique feature of Pitron 2.0 is its ability to
"understand" drawings describing topological changes, and
to define these changes in terms of parcel consolidation and
sub-parcellation.
The debut of the software into the surveyors
market in Israel marked a conceptual volt-face. No longer do
surveyors have to deal with software that relates to a drawing as a
mere freehand sketch, preserving a separate data structure for
describing the work in terms required of the surveyor, rather, the
computerized drawing is viewed as a complete data structure, any
requisite product being obtained by automatic processing on the part
of the drawing itself.
The use of Pitron 2.0 is described in the
following diagram:

Software advantages:
-
Time saving -
Automatic drawing analysis saves a great deal of the
surveyor's work time. The same office work can be performed in 20% - 30% of
the time used by other methods. Office work which by customary methods
takes about a week is shortened to about two days with the aid of Pitron 2.0.
-
Quality
control - Pitron 2.0 performs full automatic quality
control of every drawing, enabling the drawing to be brought to error-free
condition.
-
Advanced
CAD environment - Pitron 2.0 is joined to the
advanced CAD environment AutoCAD. It permits the user to enjoy the many
advantages of an advanced CAD environment , without his needing to acquire
and learn a separate drawing environment additional to the one he is
presently using.
-
Input of
drawing from external source - Pitron 2.0
enables the surveyors to receive a drawing from an external source and to
extract from that drawing all the engineering and geodetic information it
contains, in order to create an analytical parcellation plan.
-
Connectivity - Pitron 2.0 has a diverse range
of input-output options enabling the surveyor
to
liaise with additional software in his work environment. The connection
capability of Pitron 2.0
encompasses other surveying programs and generally accepted CAD software
(such as AutoCAD, CadKey and ARC+). the end product is a cadastr
prepared for insertion into G.I.S system such as ARCinfo
Requirements:
Pitron 2.0 works only under MapPit.
Under AutoCAD R12, R13,
R14, 2000 ,AutoCAD Map or AutoCAD LDDT for Windows 95, Windows 98, Dos or
Windows NT.
